“Black Monday” as it is called across the National Football League is the day after the final games of the regular season are played, where a ton of NFL Head Coaches are fired. Two coaches were already fired, with the Titans firing Brian Callahan and the Giants firing Brian Daboll. Six coaches received the axe, Jonathan Gannon of the Cardinals, Raheem Morris of the Falcons, Kevin Stefanski of the Browns, Mike McDaniel of the Dolphins, John Harbaugh of the Ravens, and Pete Carroll of the Raiders. One more joined their ranks in Mike Tomlin, who re-signed from the Steelers’ job following a playoff loss, and will take a year or two away from coaching.

The top candidates out there to fill these jobs are John Harbaugh, Kevin Stefanski, Robert Salah (49ers DC), Mike McCarthy (ex-Cowboys HC), Kliff Kingsbury (ex-Commanders OC), Joe Brady (Bills OC), Steve Spagnuolo (Chiefs DC), Jesse Minter (Chargers DC), and Todd Monken (Ravens OC).  -Jack Dusek
