It is currently trending on social media platforms, such as TikTok and Instagram, to post photos or footage from 2016. Uploaders put their favorite songs from the time period in the background, and share their 2016 memories on the internet. Some are taking the ‘2016 trend’ even further by bringing back the fashion from the year. Vouge Magazine left their take on it, writing an article on fashion trends they predict will return in 2026. Although, despite being predicted, it is unlikely that skinny jeans will genuinely make a return this year.
