The beloved thin mints which sell 33% of the cookies that girl scouts sell and won’t be leaving anytime soon but some lesser selling cookies could be getting phased out. Toast-Yay and S’mores will not be here in the 2026 sale. S’mores cookies only make approximately 10% of Girl Scout cookie sales meaning if they are taken out of circulation it will increase revenue for other products. Both products being young in their production it makes sense that during the short number of years they were out the Scouts saw the waning revenue of the cookies. According to Forbes this change is a signaling shift from “nostalgia to innovation” putting the spotlight on sales rather than customer remembrance for their time in the organization or just campfire smores in nature. Thankfully frozen thin mints are here to stay, and it will be interesting to see if they replace these two products with newer more innovative flavors.

cookies be yummy. yup
