Cooped up inside the house all winter means doing anything you can to get out once the warm starts to creep in. There are many events hosted by different companies when spring rolls around. These are perfect to spend time with your family or friends, without having to drive too far. Rita’s, located in Dunkirk, will have their annual first day of spring free Italian ice event on March 20th. This deal is all day long and includes their new skittles flavor! From Thursday, March 20th to Friday, March 21, Dickson’s jewelry in Dunkirk is throwing their Vanhan event. The event includes seeing the newest spring designs, shop vendors, a special trunk show collection and 40% off their closeout collection. Easter roll and spring time Sunday fun day is a FREE event hosted by Jack and Juni on April 6th from 12pm-4pm at 7620A Investment Court, Owings. There will be several easter egg hunts for different ages, moon bounce, oversized games, goodie bags, and vendors. All purchases are 25% off in celebration of the new spring season.

Support your local first responders and head to Huntington fire house on April 12th from 8am-1pm for their small business yard sale. This is a great way to show your support and get some fresh air. Not only are there vendors, Caney Creek will be selling breakfast and lunch and raffle tickets can be purchased for a Corvette. Take a bike ride along the bayfront, marina, and farmland with End Hunger in Calvert County. Whether you are experienced or a new rider they have the route for you!
