Powderpuff

For several years now, Northern High School’s FBLA has organized a girls’ flag football tournament called “Powderpuff.” FBLA helped to organize the tournament, raise money, and help recruit students for the event. The coaches worked diligently with students this year in order to hone their skills before the big game against Huntingtown High School; Northern had an excellent performance in their game this year. According to Logan McDonald, a member of FBLA, “I’m really happy [with how it went this year]–we won against Huntingtown this year which we haven’t done in a while… we won 18-0.” Students and staff alike were thrilled by the stunning win against Huntingtown, leading to excitement for next school year’s event. –Boris Nusinzon
