The recap and impact of famous YouTuber Coryxkenshin

Cory Devante Williams, also known as Coryxkenshin, is a beloved figure in the YouTube community. He is a well known and a well respected figure among the YouTube community that does gaming videos. Over his 16 years on YouTube, he has amassed over 23 million subscribers and touched many people’s lives.
CoryxKenshin’s channel really exploded with his gameplay videos. He would play games and react to those games with his unique style of humor. Even though this wasn’t his first formula (that being sort of slice of life/humor videos) it was his main formula that he really blew up with (that being gameplay videos). Although it is worth mentioning that CoryxKenshin did still continue the slice of life and humor videos as well as adding reaction videos. The one thing that all of his videos had in common, however, was his vibrant personality and unique style of humor. All of this helped him to achieve the monumental status of 100 thousand subscribers in 2015. Then only a year later in 2016 he hit 1 million subscribers. This doesn’t mark the end of CoryxKenshin’s career, though. On his way to hitting 23 million subscribers Williams has amassed over 9.5 billion views on all of his videos with his most viewed video having 61 million views. CoryxKenshin, through his YouTube career, has not gone without hardship however. In July of 2025 a TikTok user named PandaNinjaxx_Official alleged that she was abused by Williams during their relationship, stating she was hurt “really bad” by him. Within a day however it was revealed that these allegations where false.
Carl Crockett has been watching CoryxKenshin ever since he was a child. “It started when I watched one video of him playing bendy and the ink machine when it was trending and I thought it was very funny… henceforth I started to watch his channel… and I started to watch him everyday,” Crockett stated. Patriot Marcus Merritt, who has been watching CoryxKenshin for a few years stated, “I think that he is very influential and that he’s changed in many ways… he has made watching gaming videos more fun.” Merritt continued, “I think Cory made watching YouTube videos more fun.” Ryan Sherman, who has been watching Coryxkenshnin for two years, stated, “I guess be you, I guess be yourself,” echoing Williams’ advocacy for more YouTubers to be themselves. He went on to say, “That I should always… try to do better.” It is very apparent that CoryxKenshin has had an impact in these lives. With his phenomenal YouTube video making skills and vibrant personality CoryxKenshin has managed to garner the viewership of these Patriots and will likely continue to garner the viewership of more and more people.
