Kadee Thompson chose to spend her next four years at Stevenson University, a private college located in Owings Mills, Maryland studying biology. “I chose Stevenson because it has a good biology program, and it has a path for physical therapy to make it simpler to get my doctorate after my four years,” says Thompson. Their physical therapy program wasn’t the only thing that influenced her to choose Stevenson though, with Thompson stating, “the campus is also beautiful, and I am most looking forward to cool labs in class and rooming with my best friends.” With high hopes and instate tuition, Thompson is looking forward to her future at Stevenson! Noah Bergerson chose to call Pennsylvania State University, located in University Park, Pennsylvania, home for the next four years studying mechanical engineering. “I chose Penn State because as soon as I walked on campus I felt at home and there were so many people but also so many connections and new things to explore,” says Bergerson. Although Bergerson is studying engineering, his long term goal takes a somewhat different route, Bergerson states, “I’m looking forward to being involved with my NROTC (Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps) unit, which is a huge factor in my decision and I am excited to take the next step in my career and prepare to be a commissioned Navy officer.” Bergerson is looking forward to the education he will get at Penn State University and the guidance they will give him to reach his career goals! Sienna Copeland decided to call the University of Arkansas located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, home for the next four years studying Criminal Psychology. “I chose the University of Arkansas because it’s close to my family and when I went to visit it just felt like the right place for me, I’ve also been a razorback fan my whole life so it was fate,” Says Copeland. Going to an out of state college but still being around family makes leaving home much easier, leaving you less nervous and more excited for what is in store for you as you open another chapter in your life. Copeland states, “I’m looking forward to making new and fun memories and being able to get the full college experience.” Copeland is excited to leave Maryland and focus on her studies while still enjoying what college life has to offer! Payton Mcculley chose the University of Mississippi, more commonly known as Ole Miss, located in Oxford Mississippi, to continue her education after highschool studying sociology and criminal law. “I chose Ole Miss because the second I stepped on campus I felt so at home, everything about it was just perfect,” says Mcculley. Schools in the south tend to take sorority rushing very seriously, which is one of the reasons Mcculley chose to go to Ole Miss, stating, “I’m most looking forward to rushing in a sorority, along with SEC (South Eastern conference) game days!” Mcculley is ecstatic to move down South and make many new friends and memories along the way on campus and within her sorority!
