The Neighbourhood

UltraSOUNDs and Wourld Tours

In 2025, the band The Neighbourhood made a huge comeback after a long hiatus of 5 years. They surprised fans by announcing their return and also releasing a new album titled ultraSOUND on November 14 2025. This is the band’s fifth studio album and the first one they’ve put out in five years. The album includes 15 brand new songs that mix The Neighbourhoods iconic indie rock with fresh, unheard sounds. The band dropped three singles prior to album release, including “OMG”, “Lovebomb” and “Private” to build up excitement amongst fans. The new music shows growth while still being comparable to their earlier work. After years of waiting, fans were thrilled to have new songs.

Many fans had missed the bands unique style. Before the album, the band teased their comeback with mysterious posts on socials, which got people talking online. Once ultraSOUND released, it was a big success within the community. The album dives into topics of reflection and relationships. The Neighbourhood recorded their new album with the full band and past producers, and they worked hard to make it feel new but also familiar. This blend reminded listeners of what they loved about The Neighbourhood while showing how the band has evolved as a whole overtime. The album’s release marked a major moment in 2025 for indie music fans.

In 2026, The Neighbourhood is taking their return even further with their tour titled “The Wourld Tour”. The tour is for their new ultraSOUND album and officially starts on March 28 in Austin, Texas. Although the tour itself includes over 30 shows in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Many major cities like New York, London, Paris, and more are also part of the tour stops. This world tour gives fans everywhere a chance to hear the band they love live in person again.

The fans reaction to their comeback show how much their music still matters. After multiple years without new music, ultraSOUND gave fans something to connect with, and it meant the world to them. Music lovers who grew up with The Neighbourhood are happy to see that they’re back.
