Harry Styles fourth studio album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.” has quickly become one of the most talked about releases of 2026 after its release on March 6. The album has a noticeably different sound compared to Harry’s last few albums, leaning into synth and dance pop rather than his previous more softer style used in his 3rd album, Harry’s House. Plenty of fans have described it as a bold and exciting era for Harry as it contains a uniquely electronic upbeat sound.
The albums sound is especially clear in certain tracks like “Aperture”, also known as the lead single. It features an electronic, dance style of music with plenty of synths and heartfelt lyrics, such as “We belong together, it finally appears it’s only love”. Other songs like “Ready, Steady, Go!” bring in a more energetic, pop sort of rock sound, with a catchy more fast paced vibe. Meanwhile, “Dance No More” is considered a fan favorite for its funky, groovy beat and playful, fun lyrics and energy. Fans thoroughly enjoy screaming “Respect your mother!”. Although, other tracks like “Paint by Numbers” and “Coming Up Roses” are more focused on acoustics and orchestral sounds, which shows the albums range.
But, his promotion of the album has been just as creative as the music itself. Before the announcement of KATTDO, mysterious billboards which said “We belong together” appeared in cities worldwide, sparking curiosity online. He also launched a website and sent voice messages to fans, generating even more hype in a personal way.
Thanks to the hype, in the past few weeks the album has performed extremely well. It debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 with around 430,000 album units sold in its first week in the US, continuing Harry’s streak of chart topping releases. It also became his fourth number 1 album and topped charts in multiple countries, like Canada, Australia, and even the UK too. Singles from the album have also dominated charts, with Aperture reaching number 1, and American Girls even landing in the top five.
Continuing the promo after the initial rollout, Harry has continued promoting the album through performances and events. He performed songs like “Dance No More” on Saturday Night Live while he was featured as both a musical guest and host. And, he announced his Together, Together tour, which will happen through the end half of 2026. Though, some were lucky enough to see an early glimpse of this tour when Harry Styles did his one night only performance in Manchester.
KATTDO is a new era for Harry Styles, blending disco and pop. The sound combined with its strong chart performance and viral promotion has gave this album a place as one of the biggest releases of 2026. Whether you’re drawn to the upbeat dance tracks or the more emotional songs, there is a song for everyone, and fans can’t wait to listen all the time (and disco occasionally).
